Symposium on Climate Change and the Energy Transition
April 28, 2023, at the Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin!
The Texas Environmental Law Journal (TELJ) in conjunction with the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Section (ENRLS) is excited to announce our second annual Symposium on Climate Change and the Energy Transition. The Symposium will bring together current practitioners in the area of climate change law with scholars and emerging thought leaders.
The Symposium will cover a range of subjects on the important and urgent topics of climate and energy transition. The full program agenda is being finalized and an agenda will be announced early in 2023. The Symposium will seek CLE accreditation from the State Bar of Texas and anticipates providing approximately 5 hours of CLE. The program will include presentations and discussion on topics such as:
The Symposium extends from 9am to 5pm, with a cash bar reception to follow in the Bullock's Austin Room from 5-6:30pm.
Register early! In-person attendance is limited to 250 people. Registration is $75.00; student registration is $50.00. A buffet breakfast and lunch are included in the registration. Organizers do not anticipate Covid-19-related restrictions, but will align with any requirements of the City of Austin and/or the Bullock Museum.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received by email by COB on April 14, 2023, will receive a full refund. Cancellations received after April 14th will not receive a refund; however, you may substitute an attendee by notifying the organizers by email before COB on April 21st.

- Methane regulation and management
- Land use, resilience, and adaptation
